DJCares 2025 Scholarship Now Closed!
DJCares is the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) vehicle of Digital Jewels Africa, a specialized Information Value Chain and Capacity Building Firm. The DJCares Scholarship scheme was established to support promising but financially disadvantaged students pursuing careers in Information Technology, helping to reduce the number of dropouts due to lack of funds and encouraging academic excellence.
Launched in 2011, the initiative has since impacted over 100 students across Nigeria, offering partial scholarships and career support to deserving undergraduates in IT-related fields. 2025 marks the first time DJCares will be extended to Ghana, as part of our mission to build a pipeline of skilled professionals across Africa.
This scholarship programme is part of Digital Jewels’ broader commitment to building specialized talent for Africa’s digital economy. Through our high-quality training, e-learning, and recruitment services, we continue to empower individuals with relevant skills for the evolving information age.
In addition to financial support, beneficiaries may also be offered placement opportunities with Digital Jewels during academic holidays, Industrial Training periods, and National Service—providing real-world experience to complement their academic journey.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the scholarship award selection, candidates must ensure they meet all criteria’s as stated below
- IT related course of study. Specifically, Computer Science (single or combined degree), Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering.
- GPA of at least 3/4 each semester since university enrollment.
- Must be Ghanaian and under 23 years old by October 2025
- Must have completed at least 2 years in a recognized state or federal Ghanaian tertiary institution
- Must have English language proficiency (oral & written).
- Must produce two (2) credible references, 1 of which must be a reference from your current institution e.g H.O.D, Dean e.t.c

A link to the quiz portal will be sent to you via email.
Ensure you use your correct and active email address.
N:B The date for the aptitude quiz will be communicated to all applicants via email a few days prior to the scheduled quiz.
The 40-minute quiz will assess your knowledge in:
- General Knowledge
- Mathematics
- English
- Computer Science
- Cybersecurity
A minimum score of 70% is required to qualify for the next stage.

Terms & Conditions
- Amount available & tenor is fixed.
Only 1 person/family will benefit over a 5yr period. - Relations/wards of Digital Jewels staff or partner/associated companies are not eligible to apply.
- Applicants must NOT currently be a beneficiary of any other scholarship scheme.
- Quarterly feedback to be sought from HOD.
- Scholarship may be withdrawn where academic performance, attitude & value system fall below stipulated expectation after selection/award.
