 Our Information Value Chain Breakfast Forums hold monthly, typically every 2nd Wednesday of every month, and provide a platform for knowledge sharing, information exchange and networking. In our various roles, as we climb the corporate ladder, it gets increasingly challenging to keep up with pertinent trends but increasingly important not to lose sight of issues which can affect our individual and corporate competitiveness. Our IVC Breakfast forums are focused at just that: providing a forum to catch up and keep learning! We feature a carefully selected mix of consultants, practitioners and industry thought leaders with a carefully targeted audience consisting of a cross section of industry-shapers for today and tomorrow.

Our April 2010 IVC Breakfast forum featured Sir Demola Aladekomo, Group MD, Chams Plc. His presentation was highly educative, inspiring and thought provoking as he unveiled the secrets to building a Successful IT Conglomerate in Nigeria.

He highlighted their major failures and the hard lessons learned over the past 25 years of doing business. These experiences invariably led the firm to take three vital strategic decisions which positioned Chams Plc to identify and exploit several niche opportunities in the market place. His presentation clearly emphasized the obvious fact that though challenges and obstacles are inevitable in the journey to corporate success, it is how these challenges are handled that determine to a large extent, the future of the Organization.

His presentation style was interactive. His use of real life examples like that of Nokia and Apple added flavour  to the whole session.

The Digital Jewels IVC Breakfast Forum is a monthly forum where  executives and professionals from different sectors of the economy come together to address underlying issues and pressing current trends both nationally and globally.
