DIGITAL JEWELS ; MOST OUTSTANDING ICT COMPANY IN WEST AFRICA - ASPIRE WEST AFRICA Accra, Ghana. Nov. 25th, 2011. Aspire West Africa, an organization and Magazine with the purpose of defining and celebrating excellence recognized Digital Jewels, awarding it the “Most Outstanding ICT Company in West Africa.” The Firm was recognized alongside older, more established Firms from all works of life in Nigeria and Ghana at a fairly understated (at least by Nigerian standards) ceremony in Accra. The MD of Digital Jewels, Mrs Adedoyin Odunfa, remarked “Not really one for awards myself, I agreed to accept this given the neutrality of the company and the absence of any “lobbying” on our side – indeed we were not even aware of the existence of the award until we were notified.” In her acceptance speech , she said– “the glory for all our accomplishments thus far, goes to God alone and the award is for you all – the team at Digital jewels: for your hard work, creativity, resilience, intellect, warmth & resourcefulness”. First, I give all the glory to God for all the accomplishments he has enabled Digital Jewels to achieve - it is indeed His doing & it is marvelous in our sight. Digital Jewels is an Afro-centric, independent, specialised IT & PM Consulting & Capacity Building company focusing primarily on Information Security, Information Assurance, E-business, Project Management and Knowledge Capacity Building. Today, to the glory of God, Digital Jewels is at the fore front of supporting organisations to adopt & implement global best practice standards. Today, we are the only Consulting Firm in West Africa, possibly in the whole of Africa 2 have taken two companies to certification to the ISO27001 standard for Information Security and the only consulting company registered by the SON. We have also been privileged to have been involved in working across 7 African countries within the our short, under four years, of existence.
